I moved to Zebulon with my family in 1987, when I was just 7 years old. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to live, work, and play here — from my time in school, biking around town as a kid or playing sports. I’ve always called Zebulon home, never living more than 5 miles away from where I grew up.
Today, I’m raising my own family in Zebulon with my wife, Kelly, and our young children. I understand the challenges of raising a family, balancing work, school, and community life. That’s why I’ve chosen to raise my children in the same community that shaped me. It’s important to me that we build a town that supports our citizens through every stage of life, from birth to their senior years.
For the past 16 years, I served as a Zebulon Police Officer, which gave me the chance to directly protect and serve our community. In May of this year, I made the difficult decision to resign from the department so I could run for Commissioner. While it was a tough choice, I believe this is the next step in my commitment to improving the town I love.
Along with my time in law enforcement, I’ve worked as a General Contractor and now run JRB Quality Construction, Inc. a family-owned business. These experiences, paired with my lifelong dedication to Zebulon, have given me the skills and perspective needed to serve effectively as a Zebulon Commissioner.
